Our Pledge
What is treated jadeite and why don't we sell it?
Type B and C jadeite have been dyed, bleached, impregnated with polymers, and/or recieved other chemical treatments to imitate the high quality color and texture of Type A natural jadeite.
Typically, these pieces are sold by dishonest companies as "Type A natural jadeite", charging premium prices for a cheap, chemically treated product. Not only is this practice dishonest, but hurts the quality of the product: treated jadeite is more brittle, prone to breakage, and likely to fade over time.
We will never sell treated jadeite, and that is backed by our Natural Jadeite Guarantee.
Natural Jadeite Guarantee: Real jadeite or your money back
If a customer lab tests our jadeite in any of the following labs and finds their piece to be treated, we will cover the cost of the laboratory test and issue a full refund.
We accept lab tests from the following world-renowned and accredited laboratories:
- Gemalogical Institute of America (GIA): United States
- Gübelin Gem Lab: Hong Kong
- Hong Kong Institute of Gemology: Hong Kong
- National Gemstone Testing Center: China
- Gemalogical Institute of China University of Geosciences: China
- NGSTC: China
